Holiday Blogging: Athletics

Task Description: Today for the Holiday Blogging challenge two out topic was Athletics and so what I did was that I had to describe what I am learning today and put some images relating to our topic. We also had to do four interesting facts about Athletics and I did some simple facts I googled them but put them in my own words for me the hardest part was creating the picture and trying to draw straight lines actually I didn’t try to draw them straight I just did something random. Then we had to get any image according to Athletics and put our topic at the top of the page and put links on where we got our information. Our last thing to do was that we had to reorder ourselves explaining what we learned today. Holiday Blogging: The Ocean

Task Description: Today I finally finished my first challenge for Holiday Blogging, My topic for this task or Challenge was “The Ocean” and I had to describe what I was learning today and put some pictures or Images where the grey boxes were, I chose some really clear photos because I thought it looked nice. Then I had to write in four white boxes and write four interesting facts about the Ocean. I chose some long ones and some short ones some of them even shocked me, I also had to create something related to the Ocean and so I drew waves and the sun going down it took me a long time to create this but it was worth it. The next slide was that we had to change the title at the top to the topic we were learning about, then we had to put a picture of the Ocean I used the picture from the first slide because it looked cool and satisfying then we had to put links of where we got the information from. The last slide was that we had to put a video of ourselves explaining what we learned today. I really loved doing this task and I think people should learn more about the Ocean and don’t litter in the water so all the Sea Creatures can swim and not eat plastic. Snow Storm

Task Description: Today for task eleven on the Winter Learning Journey we had to write as MANY words as we can out of the word Snow Storm. We had to boggle or mix the letters up and write as many words using those letters only. First what I did was that I went to my drive and pressed New on the top left corner. After pressing that I also pressed New slide, I started off by deleting all the boxes that were blank. Then I changed the background to a Winter colour which was light blue and white, I also changed the colour of the letters to white and put it on the bottom where the blue is so you can see it. This took me a really long time to do so I thought of as many words as I could using the words Snow Storm. This was also really fun to do I had to do A LOT of thinking and I really hope I can do this again for another task and that’s it for task description Thank you for reading and visiting my blog byeee.

Freeze Frames

Task description: Today I have posted my Freeze Frames task. And my teacher for this rotation was Miss Parant, and so what we had to do was that we had to get into groups of fives and one of them has to be goldilocks and the others has to be the three bears so for my group we chose jordyn because she has blonde hair and the others have to be the 3 bears but because there were 4 of us there were two childs instead of one. After that Miss Parant comes around with a camera and we have to take four different pictures. One the 4 bears eating porridge, Two we are shocked because the porridge is gone, Three we pose like we are chasing goldilocks, Four we take another picture of us chasing her. This was really fun to do I enjoyed posing and taking pictures and I hope we do another rotation like this. And so yea that’s what we had to do for this rotation. Emotion train

Task description: Today I have FINALLY finished my Emotion train task. And my teacher for this task was Mr Hughes and he was talking about this creation he did, First we went to his class and sat on the mat he was talking and showing the pictures on the screen at the same time. And he was asking us ” How is this boy feeling and how do you know?” people started to raise their hand including me. after a few slides with different emotions we went outside for a little game called Emotion train and so how Emotion train worked was that we all had to get in line from tallest to shortest. and Mr Hughes had to pick a person then they discuss what emotion he/she wants to act then he/she goes in front and he/she starts walking then we all follow and the person behind will act the same then the person behind does the same then it goes on on on until everyone is acting out that emotion. We walk around until we get to the court and stop, Then the people raise their hands and Mr Hughes picks a person and they try and guess the emotion that the front person was acting and then that person that guessed goes to the front and does the same as the other person until we went around the WHOLE court. And so yea that’s how you play Emotion train and you should try it sometime ok BYEEEE

Music & Emotions

Task description: Today I finished my task from Miss Tuia’s class. First when we entered her class we had to sit on the mat, after that she explained while going through the slides what we had to do. Each slide had an emotion and we had to go to YouTube pick out a song that made us feel that emotion then we had to write the title and who the song was from, we also had to explain why that made us feel that emotion. I really enjoyed doing this task and would like to do it again next time for now that’s it BYEEEE

Extension A – Z Research

Task Description: Today I finished my A – Z Research in Extension, it took me a long time to finish this I couldn’t choose an image because they were all so cute. I loved  doing my A – Z Research I loved doing each letter and choose facts about that letter, but I did most of them as animals and I hope to do it again soon I really enjoyed doing this!

 

 

Fractions Task

Task Description: This week we had to learn about Fractions, first we had to go on the mat. My teacher Miss Parrant helped us go through the slides  together on the whiteboard. When we were finished we had to go to our desk and do the task and so this is my perspective. Today I did my task it was pretty easy at first but when I got to the next slides it started to get a bit challenging but I managed to get through it. It was really fun to do and I loved learning about fractions this week!
